Happy Island Waterworld Project in South Africa

Happy Island Waterworld, now operating as Mzansi Theme Park, is a large outdoor water park in Muldersdrift, Gauteng, within the Greater Johannesburg area of South Africa.

The approximately 380,000-square-metre development was publicly valued at USD 36 million and entered operation in 2019.

Dalang served as the water park developer, providing planning and design, equipment supply, on-site installation guidance, commissioning and acceptance support.

The park combines large-scale slides and wave attractions with family water-play and leisure facilities.

The park also includes tsunami and wave pools, high-speed body slides, smaller funnel slides, a Lazy River, children’s pools and other leisure and supporting facilities.
