Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc Water Park Project in Vietnam
Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc Water Park was developed as part of the original Vinpearl Phu Quoc resort and entertainment complex at Bai Dai on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.
The wider resort complex opened on November 1, 2014, followed by the official opening of the water park on November 15, 2014. The original water park covered approximately 50,000 square metres.
Guangdong Dalang Water Park Equipment Co., Ltd. worked with Vingroup and the local project team to provide water park planning and design, equipment manufacturing and supply, installation support, commissioning and acceptance support.
The attraction package combined high-thrill slides, family raft attractions, multi-lane racing slides, interactive children’s water play, artificial waves and leisure experiences.

Interactive Family Water Playground
The family water-play area features a multi-level structure with open and enclosed children’s slides, spraying equipment and interactive water features.
Marine-animal decorations, brightly coloured components and multiple play levels create an accessible attraction for children and accompanying family members.
Large Bowl-Style Thrill Slide
One of the park’s principal visual landmarks is a large bowl-style slide designed to create a high-thrill body-sliding experience.
After travelling through an enclosed section, riders enter the oversized open bowl before continuing towards the landing area. The large structure also gives the attraction a distinctive presence within the park.
Family Raft and Spiral Slides
The park includes open and enclosed spiral slides designed for raft and body-sliding experiences.
Their curved layouts create a longer ride through changes in direction and speed, while the use of different colours helps distinguish individual slide routes across the attraction area.
Multi-Lane Racing Slides
The racing slide area allows several visitors to descend side by side on separate lanes.
This configuration introduces a competitive group experience while supporting a higher rider capacity than a single-lane body slide.
Wave Pool
The Wave Pool provides a beach-style leisure experience through mechanically generated waves.
Its broad appeal helps balance the park’s high-thrill attractions and gives families and groups an area where they can enjoy the water together.
The original attraction mix also included a Lazy River, additional body slides, family raft slides, children’s slides, pools and supporting visitor facilities.
What the Project Demonstrates
The Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc project demonstrates Dalang’s ability to:
- Supply a diverse water park attraction package for a large overseas resort development;
- Combine thrill slides, family attractions and leisure water facilities within one project;
- Coordinate equipment delivery and installation support with a developer and local project team;
- Support the completion of a destination water park in Southeast Asia.
