L-RTM, which is fully known as ‘Light Resin Transfer Molding’, is a procedure by which composite items are produced using a closed mold technique for low to medium volume applications.
According to the Composite World, the closed mold is made of an ‘A’ side mold (also called ‘base mold’) and a semi-grid ‘B’ side mold (counter mold) that is sealed to the ‘A’ side using vacuum pressure.
